Shelly Centre – and its customers – help Rehoboth Children’s Village

The centre is extremely grateful for the donations received during its 'Share The Love' pop up shop.

As we wave goodbye to February, the Shelly Centre appreciates the donations the community brought to its ‘Share The Love’ pop up shop.

More than six trolleys of clothing and other household items were collected. This translated into two full bakkie loads for the Rehoboth Children’s Village.

Alfons van der Galien,  managing director of the village said the organisation had not received clothing donations for some time. “Our supply was running low and this is a huge blessing.”

This wonderful initiative also provided the community with the chance to enter a lucky draw to win a Lake Eland experience for two people. The lucky winners of the competition were Jenny Smith and her daughter, Jade.
