New GP consulting rooms open in Gamalakhe

Dr Alstynn Kenneth Pillay said he was delighted to bring affordable, privatised medicine to the community.

MD24 opened the doors to its light, airy and spacious new consulting rooms at the Gamalakhe Lifestyle Centre last Saturday.

Owner, Dr Alstynn Kenneth Pillay, is based in Shelly Beach and said he was delighted to open this second branch which, he said, would bring affordable, privatised medicine to the Gamalakhe community.

“It’s been in the planning for some time, and my business partner Dr Thula Siluma and I are now able to deliver a modern, state-of-the-art medical consulting centre, right here in the heart of Gamalakhe.”

Speaking at the opening, Ray Nkonyeni Municipality mayor, Cynthia Mqwebu said Dr Pillay’s personal qualities make him an excellent friend and an exceptional doctor.

“He is warm, compassionate and sincere. And his enthusiasm for what he does is undeniable,” she said.
