Festival leaves guests well fed, ‘crafty’ and in good ‘spirits’

It was a fantastic evening, with super food, great drinks and good company.

The Shelly Beach Rotary Club, together with sponsors Halfway Toyota Shelly Beach, hosted a Craft Beer, Food, Wine and Executive Spirit Lounge at Umthunzi Hotel and Conference in Umtentweni last Friday.

The event was packed to capacity with guests sampling local and international craft beer, a selection of award-winning South African fine wines and an array of exclusive spirits. They also had the opportunity to get onto the dance floor with live music provided by The Gentry and Christopher Pillay.

Shelly Beach Rotary president Kenny Naidoo said the event hit all the right notes and was an evening to remember. “It’s been a fantastic evening, with super food, great drinks and good company. The popularity of this festival seems to grow every year and next year will probably be even better,” remarked Mr Naidoo.
