Amandawe woman struck by motorcycle on Scottburgh N2 overpass

The woman was later transferred to Port Shepstone Regional Hospital.

A CASE of reckless and negligent driving has been registered at the Scottburgh Saps after a motorcycle struck a pedestrian on the Scottburgh N2 overpass recently.

According to the Saps, a 50-year-old Amandawe woman had just exited a taxi and was attempting to cross the road when she was struck by an on-coming blue Yamaha motorbike.

Emergency services found the driver of the motorbike unresponsive.

Both the driver and the pedestrian were seriously injured and were taken to GJ Crookes Hospital.

The woman was later transferred to Port Shepstone Regional Hospital.
