Wall collapses on man in Hibberdene

The 38-year-old man was seriously injured.

A construction worker was seriously injured when a wall collapsed on him at a house in Hibberdene earlier today (Monday).

According to paramedic Glen Preston from Med-Evac Ambulance Services, the 38-year-old man was at a house in Aubrey Road, Hibberdene when a wall fell, trapping him.

“Paramedics together with the SAPS Rescue Unit attended to the man. After stabilising him he was taken to hospitalin a critical condition,” said Mr Preston.
An official statement is awaited from the police.
