Betty’s loyal ‘service’ will be missed at Uvongo Tennis Club

AFTER 36 years of loyal service to Uvongo Tennis Club, Betty Mjweni is sailing into the best years of her life – retirement.

A farewell party was held at the club recently, with a large contingent of ‘retired players’ as well as regular members present.

Chairman Peter Digby thanked Betty for her dedication and hard work and wished her well in her retirement.

“Enjoy this newjourney in your life. You will be missed, but never forgotten,” he said.
