South Coast singers impress judges on The Voice SA
The talented twosome are thrilled to have made it to the next round of the competition.
Two local singers Khokho Madlala (27) and Wade Bezuidenhout (26) blew judges away at ‘The Voice SA’ season 3 blind auditions.
Khokho from KwaMadlala performed a spirited rendition of the Mafikizolo classic “Emlanjeni” that had the coaches dancing in their red chairs.

When coaches Francois van Coke and Riky Rick pitched to add her to their teams, Francois quickly reminded her that he showed interest first but he needn’t have worried as it turned out he and Khokho were an immediate mutual admiration society.
Wade, a former Suid-Natal pupil who is no stranger to South Coasters showed his impressive falsetto in the One Republic rendition “Wherever I go” and impressed coaches Riana Nel and Francois.

Wade said he had been extremely excited to be on stage, he joined #TeamRiana.
Former Hibberdene resident Slindo Zondo (29) who is now a music tutor in Durban left her accounting profession to pursue music, against the wishes of her parents and struggled to make a way for herself.
“I think when they see me on this show it’s going to change a lot,” she said.
Slindo delivered a slamming version of A Great Big World’s “Say Something” and Lira turned for her by the second line of lyric, rapidly followed by the other three coaches, for the first four-chair turn of the evening.

“I’m speechless,” Lira sighed. “Please, I’m begging you. Pretty please,” she pleaded, and it worked, giving #TeamLira its first new talent in two episodes.
The Voice SA is broadcast on M-Net Channel 101 on Sunday nights at 5.30pm.
