The grade 10 forum discussion team from Scottburgh High recently took part in the annual forum discussion competition which was held at St. Henry’s High.
There were approximately seven other schools competing in this event.
The SHS team consisted Natalie Nortje (chairman), Menzi Cele, Kyle Pillay and Inathi Nyuswa.

The main topic was ‘Change’. Teams were then given ten minutes to prepare and then deliver their speech. Natalie introduced the topic and the team discussed it for 10 minutes.
The teams’ topic was titled ‘Change isn’t always growth’. Their discussion earned them an unexpected yet well-deserved first place and a R400 book voucher.
Congratulations go to Natalie who also won the Best Chairman Award for the third year in a row.
