Eastern extravaganza was a glittering success
The Miss Eastern Teen pageant was one of the highlights of the evening.
It was a night to remember at the Port Shepstone Civic Centre last Saturday when the Shree Raam Narayan Temple Society hosted its Eastern Extravaganza.

The community came out in their numbers to take part in an evening of glitz, glamour, dinner and dancing. The fundraising event was a resounding success with a Miss Eastern Teen pageant, a seniors talent show as well as performances by Shiv Ramsunder and Samishka Singh. Former Lotus FM deejay Chandresan Govender performed to an enthusiastic audience.
The winners of the Miss Eastern Teen pageant were Zahra Gokool (second princess), Priyanka Rajagopal (queen) and Esha Sewnarain (first princess).
Chairman of the Shree Raam Narayan Temple Society Singh Samsunder said it was an honour to be surrounded by individuals who were willing to devote their time and talent to fundraising and awareness for the organisation.
