He has been rather busy of late; he caught a Boomslang at Halfway Toyota, Shelly Beach last Friday,  two green in Betania last Sunday, and then a night adder on Monday this week.

Sarel said the Boomslang was all over and eventually he caught up with him.

Boomslang are haematoxic venom and cause profuse bleeding from internal organs, mucous surfaces, causing extensive lesions under skin.

The male is green and the female a dull grey colour, while juveniles have emerald-coloured eyes.

It’s a shy snake, spending most of its time in trees.

Sarel, as always, left some happy and thankful people behind.
