DA leader to visit Uvongo tomorrow

Mmusi Maimane will be engaging with residents in the build-up to the launch of the party's National Day of Action.

DA leader Mmusi Maimane is set to visit the South Coast.

Mr Maimane will make his way to Umzinto Town Hall today, Thursday, March 28 at 12pm and later to Uvongo Town Hall from 5pm.

DA spokesman Philisiwe Sefatsa said Mr Maimane will be engaging with residents in the build-up to the launch of the party’s National Day of Action next Friday, March 29 by sharing the DA’s plans to fix the country’s energy crisis.

According to Mr Maimane this National Day of Action will include civil society groups, NGOs, religious bodies, community activist organisations and the nation at large.

“Our call is for the government to get off its hands and take real action. There is a way to fix this Eskom mess.”

Mr Maimane will also be addressing supporters on what the DA has to offer post the upcoming national general elections.
