Toddler electrocuted by illegal connection

Yet another life has been lost due to illegal electrical connections at the Masinenge informal settlement near Uvongo.

Police spokesman, Sergeant Sibu Ncane from Margate SAPS said on Friday, March 8 a two-year-old boy was electrocuted by a live wire which was on the ground.

“The child was declared dead prior to the police’s arrival,” he said.

An inquest docket has been opened.
