Internationally acclaimed artist Rob Wareing conducts art demo
He has exhibited regularly in Santa Maria, USA, receiving many high profile commissions.
Rob Wareing, an internationally acclaimed portrait artist conducted an ‘Art Demo’ at the Artists’ Gallery in Ramsgate on Saturday. The inspirational artist received a warm welcome from those attending and did a live pastel portrait.

Rob studied art and painting in Europe and the USA under master artists Daniel Green, John Howard Sanden and Bob Gerbracht. In 1982 he became a member of the portrait institute of New York where his pastel works received special mention.
He returned to KwaZulu-Natal in 1983 and had held regular successful exhibitions. From 1998 to 2003 he exhibited regularly in Santa Maria, USA, receiving many high profile commissions and holding art workshops for artists.
He has since conducted countless artist workshops in the United Kingdom, South Africa, Botswana, Mauritius and the United States and has put together a range of art instruction DVDs. Rob also writes for various international art publications and his figurative paintings are increasingly in demand.
