Talk of the Towns: Festival reintroduces firewalking
The 124th Shri Mariamman Festival which will be held at the residence of the late KV Naicker.
Schola Amoris School will be hosting an Autism Fun Walk at the Park Rynie beach campsite on Saturday, April 6 at 8am in support of World Autism Day. The entry fee is R10. For more information contact the school at 039-9741900.

The 124th Shri Mariamman Festival which will be held at the residence of the late KV Naicker at Umbelli-Belli Farm, Flower Road in Umzinto on Friday, April 26 at 5.30pm, Saturday, April 27 at 5pm and Sunday, April 28 at 7am. This festival is being held with the assistance of community members. Note: Firewalking will be reintroduced into proceedings on April 27. The South Coast Fashion Extravaganza Show was held at the Scottburgh Town Hall last Saturday. This was a free show and all were welcomed.
There was loads of entertainment on offer which included Hidden Ice, Expression, ballroom dancing and DJ SK. The show was hosted by KSG Productions which is a marketing company that works with young and upcoming fashion designers and helps them to better themselves and make a name for themselves in the industry. A number of girls from the area participated in the show and wowed the crowd. The South Coast Models group run by Niksha Sevnaran of Park Rynie, were participants too.
