The walk was well supported and thoroughly enjoyed by all. Anita Roodt of the NG Church Port Shepstone said it takes just R69 to buy someone a Bible. “The substantial amount of money raised by the walkers will be well used.”

She added that the Bible Society prints and distributes Bibles in various languages. “People all over South Africa benefit from the society’s charitable work and the assistance it receives from supporters.”
After the walkers had completed the pleasant walk there were plenty of delicious goodies on sale at the finish line.
