Mini market raises funds for charity

Many visitors to the market enjoyed strolling from stall to stall browsing the items for sale and sniffing out a bargain.

From favourite teddy bears to clothing, jewellery, linen, blankets, shoes, vases, cutlery, in fact, any household items that would sell; the Port Shepstone Lions gathered these donated goodies from South Coasters for its mini market outside the JTV Centre in Umtentweni last Saturday.

The Lions set up in the car park outside the centre and bargain hunters were spoilt for choice.

Sheppie Lions PRO Denis Meyer said the mini market had been a great success and the organisation thanks the South Coast community for its continued support.

“Many visitors to the market enjoyed strolling from stall to stall browsing the items for sale and grabbing a bargain. All proceeds will go to charity,” he said.
