Stepping out to help Round Tablers maintain their clubhouse

The walk was also a treat for nature lovers.

There was keen interest from the community at the Sheppie Round Table’s fun 10km beach walk from the Sharks Den in Port Shepstone to the Shelly Beach Ski-boat Club last Saturday.

The reason for hosting this event was to raise much-needed funds for maintenance to the Tablers’ clubhouse.

Port Shepstone Round Table president Lourens Kruger said people of all ages and fitness levels were encouraged to participate in the event and enjoy fellowship with people from all walks of life while assisting the organisation to raise funds to look after their clubhouse.

“The walk was also a treat for nature lovers and a chance for South Coast people to walk on the beach in safety, discovering the beauty of the lesser known sections of our magnificent shoreline,” he said.
