Round Tablers gather to confer in Leisure Bay

The Round Table Natal South Coast Area’s annual conference and AGM took place at TO Strand in Leisure Bay recently. At the event Tablers and guests were given a rundown on the projects undertaken by the organisations and the impact it had on the communities they served.

Etienne du Plessis, Round Table Margate 46 chairman and convener of the conference and AGM, said that he truly believes that every young man should be a part of this amazing club.

“This club teaches you business, communication and financial skills and makes a family out of friends. We have a lot of dedicated young men in this organisation who serve their community unselfishly and give of their family time for fundraising activities,” he said.

The following Round Table Clubs and Tablers were singled out for awards on the evening.

Etienne du Plessis (Area Tabler of the Year award), Mardie Bergh (Margate 46 Table Leg of the Year), Ansophie du Plessis (Area Leg of the Year), Henk Nortjie (Chairman of the Year), Champs Trophy-Westville 189, Joe West Trophy – Sani 152, Esprit De Corps – Kloof 190, Hannes Ferreira (Jester of the Year), Membership Trophy and best Table of the Year – Margate 46, Sheppie Shield – Kokstad 35, Pinetown Horn – Kokstad 35 and Rodney van Dyk (stirrer award).
