Indie Dog to play at Rocky Ridge this weekend
Having only formed in early 2018, the band is already spreading like wildfire and they’ve rocked the house at all the major venues in South Africa.
Indie Dog, a four-piece indie rock band from Johannesburg, will be at Rocky Ridge in Ramsgate this Saturday (13th). The outfit plays a transfixing mix of rock, blues and folk. Having only formed in early 2018, Indie Dog is already spreading like wildfire and they’ve rocked the house at all the major venues in South Africa. Their debut album `Baptism of Fire’ was featured in Spotify’s `New Music Friday SA’s’ playlist, as well as the being placed as the first song on Spotify’s rock essentials’ playlist.

The venue opens at 6pm and the group will be on stage from 8pm. Entry is R40 per person.
This Sunday’s (14th) Sunday Blues session at the ridge will be an open mic. No entry fee and the doors open at midday – artists on stage from 1pm.
Catch Zebra next Friday (19th). Entry is R40 and the band will play from 8pm – venue opens at 6pm.
Shackle and Bones which is on its `Concentration Tour’ will stopover at Rocky Ridge next Saturday (20th) and Jacob’s Saw will take up the Sunday Blues slot on the 21st.
