Creston College’s gr 3 pupils had a very productive term one under the leadership of teachers Kay-Lee Heaver and Elaine Moore.
They were recently tasked with designing their own zoo through the ‘Dream Up’ entrepreneurial programme.

Salma Bejia competed at the SA Athletics Championships in Germiston recently and placed sixth in the 800m finals.
Salma and her brother and fellow pupil Nabil travelled to Port Elizabeth to compete at the SA Modern Day Biathlon Championships. Nabil came fourth with a total of 2 416.65 points, a new KZN record.
Gemma Allchin took part in the Level 3 Swimming Championships in Bloemfontein and qualified for finals, achieving gold in the 50m, silver in the 100m and bronze in the 200m breaststroke events.
Applications for the 2020 Ruta Sechaba Foundation Scholarship opened last Tuesday (2nd) and closes on Friday, May 31. The scholarship is open to current and new pupils.
