‘Eggcellent’ Easter events planned for April

Don’t miss the South Coast Bike Fest from April 26 to 28.

Saturday, April 20

*The annual Easter egg hunt hosted by the Hibiscus Rotary Club (Margate and Uvongo) will take place at the weekly flea-market from 10.30am to 11.30am. For more information phone Andre at 083 4598982.

*South Coast Hospice hosts an Easter Bonnet Parade on Lilicrona Boulevard at 5.30pm for 6pm. Entry fee is R20 per person. There will be plenty of lucky draws and prizes will be awarded to those with the best hats. For more information contact Joy or ‘BT’ at 039 6823031.

*Oribi Gorge Hotel is hosting an Easter egg hunt and cookie decorating event at 12pm. Cost is R50 per child. Booking is essential. Contact Robin at 082 3877 576 or robin@oribigorgehotel.co.za

Sunday, April 21

*The Easter bunny will be at the Wild Coast Sun Hotel and Casino Resort’s Wild Waves Waterpark. Children can take part in an Easter egg hunt where over a 1000 Easter eggs are up for grabs. For more information contact June at 039 3054866.

*Afrikaans singer, Henri Alant will be performing in Hibberdene at the Blue Waters Pub and Grill from midday.

Monday, April 22

Be part of the 5/10km CHOC (Childhood Cancer Foundation under the Comrades Amabeadi Beadi Charities) charity family fun run/walk/cycle this year. The fun starts at Uvongo fishing pier, Lilliecrona Boulevard, on Easter Monday, April 22 at 8am.

The entrance fee is R25 per person and registration takes place from 7.15am to 7.55am. Runners, walkers, cyclists, wheelchairs and prams are welcome and so are dogs on leashes. For more information, contact Deborah Berridge at 072 1322006.

Friday, April 26 to 28
