Safraa takes first place at PSIS

The sports meeting was well attended and featured track events as the field events were held earlier in the week.

Port Shepstone Islamic School’s annual inter-house athletics day was held at the Marburg Secondary School grounds on Sunday, April 14.

The sports meeting was well attended and featured track events as the field events were held earlier in the week. The events were closely contested with the final tally being yellow Safraa in first position, closely followed by blue Zarqaa in second position with red Harmraa hot on their heels in third position.

Soccer teams from the school participated in the Association of Muslim Schools Inter School Astro Soccer tournament in Durban earlier this month. The u15 squad came in as runners up as the team made it to the finals. The u13 A team made it to the semi-finals and attained fourth position. Star player of the tournament was Mikael Shaikh who scored 14 goals. The team did exceedingly well and scored 30 goals throughout the tournament.
