Nedbank’s small business market day proves profitable

Visitors were even given the opportunity to meet special guest Pepper, the country’s first humanoid robot.

The Nedbank Small Business Market Day took place at the Port Shepstone Country Club last Saturday. The market day focused on clients who wanted to take their business to the next level and offered a host of fun activities for adults and children alike.

Visitors were even given the opportunity to meet special guest Pepper, the country’s first humanoid robot.

Melanie Reddy, retail and business banking provincial manager at Nedbank said this event reflected the bank’s commitment to its clients which aimed at putting the spotlight on local entrepreneurs.

Ms Reddy added that smart marketing ensured the success of a business by attracting more customers and repeat business. “Small business is the backbone of our local economy. Whether you own a convenience store or a car dealership, you need good marketing strategies and this small business market day helped with exactly that,” she said.
