For last week’s Mandela Day, each phase organised different activities.
The school sincerely thanks Councillor Sipho Dlamalala for addressing foundation phase pupils and inspiring them to emulate Nelson Mandela.
Intermediate phase held a special assembly and each class was tasked with collecting 67 cans of food during the month of July.
These cans will be donated to the Inathi Child and Youth Care Centre in Oribi.
Senior phase came up with a novel idea – to learn 67 new words and their meanings – inspired by Nelson Mandela’s quote ‘Education is the most powerful weapon you can use to change the world.’
