Members of Port Shepstone High’s TADA (Teenagers Against Drug Abuse) visited South Coast Recovery Centre recently.
They were given a quick tour of the centre, met some of the residents, heard a testimony and watched a very informative animation on the effects of drugs from and the ultimate consequences of drug abuse.

Both the school and the centre are determined to continue creating awareness and educating pupils about the dangers of substance abuse and the impact it has on the lives of individual addicts and those around them.
South African National Blood Service arrived at the school and were delighted by the generosity and spirit shown when 165 eager but nervous pupils arrived to donate life saving-blood.

Every unit can save three lives and the school salutes those who were brave enough to conquer their fears of needles.
The Ensemble once again lived up to their phenomenal reputation with their recent stage performance entitled ‘A Musical Journey’.
Their remarkable vocal talent is inspiring.
