Beware of false promises

The name of the bogus company is similar to that of a registered credit provider.

POLICE have once again warned people to be aware of those attempting to defraud them.

“It is concerning that the name of the company promising this remarkable growth in interest is similar to that of a registered credit provider in the country.

“It has however been established that there are no links between the two companies,” said Port Shepstone Saps communications officer, Captain Petros Mpinge.

The public is warned not to invest any funds with unregistered financial companies who promise such great returns for their money.

“In these stressful economic times, persons may easily fall prey to scam artists in an attempt to get rich quickly,” added Capt Mpinge.
