Southcity Christian College has done it once again.
Not only did the school average 1.10 distinctions per pupil and a 100 percent pass rate, every pupil also achieved a tertiary study entry pass.

Some 82 percent of the matriculants achieved bachelor degree passes, 11 percent achieved diploma passes and seven percent achieved entry for study at higher certificate level.
The college has once again maintained its status as one of the top academic schools on the South Coast,with those who sat the IEB exams racking up 48 A symbols and 86 B symbols.

Headmistress, Wendy Lourens said the school was particularly proud of Zenande Mlomo, who’s impressive 96 percent final result earned her a place as one of the top isiZulu FAL students.
Other top performers were Joshua Pretorius (six As and two Bs); Tamara Venter (four As and three Bs); Kyndal Koen (four As and two Bs); Sinead Pettit (four As and one B); Bianca Els and Rachel McClure (three As and three Bs each).

“Southcity Christian College is extremely proud of you. Congratulations must also go to the life orientation and mathematic literacy departments for obtaining 15 and 11 distinctions respectively,” she said.
