Port Shepstone High has done it again with the school producing an impressive set of marks and exceptional results in the 2019 National Senior Certificate examinations.
Dux of the school, Chè Habib was the top performer with seven distinctions, and also placed first in the Ugu District.

Hot on his heels was Dillon Brymer with six distinctions followed by Laura Johnson, Sanelisiwe Mbhele and Thandile Nongogo with five distinctions each.
Eight pupils achieved four distinctions each, bringing the total number of subject distinctions to 205 for the school.
There was an overall pass rate of 96 percent, with two of the candidates having incomplete results.
Some 77 percent of those who wrote achieved a bachelors pass, 14 percent a diploma pass and five percent a higher certificate pass.
Deputy principal Kathi Nel said they were incredibly proud of all the pupils.
