Yusrah is tops at PSIS

The school was acknowledged by the Association of Muslim Schools for notching up another year with a 100 percent pass rate.

The new year opened its doors with hopeful anticipation as gr 1 smiles lit up Port Shepstone Islamic School’s hallway as pupils made their way into ‘big school’.

The awards evening for matriculants of 2019 was held in the school hall.

Yusrah Razack was the school’s top performer with a distinction aggregate and four subject distinctions.

The school was acknowledged by the Association of Muslim Schools for notching up another year with a 100 percent pass rate.

Emotions ran high as parting words and advice was exchanged and the gr 11 class of 2019 is commended for hosting an excellent function.

Work commenced from day one of the first term with pupils and staff geared for the year ahead.

A warm welcome to teachers Ismail Atcha and Sayeeda Karodia as the school bids farewell to Preath Singh and Mohamed Zuber Khan, who are thanked for their valuable service.

Parents are reminded that the school will use the D6 communicator to relay information.
