Curro Creston pupils take a bow

There was an average of two distinctions per pupil in the Curro Creston College Matric Class of 2019.

Curro Creston College executive head Noel Coetzee was fortunate enough to be invited to travel to Gauteng to attend the Curro Gala Awards function, at Emperors Palace, celebrating and acknowledging top achievers of the 2019 matric pupils in the Curro group.

There was an average of two distinctions per pupil in the Curro Creston College Matric Class of 2019.

Two pupils placed in the Curro Schools’ ‘Top Ten’ nationally in the IEB exams and one in the ‘Top Twenty’ nationally.

The school’s top seven A aggregates candidates were invited to the gala award, but only four were able to attend.

Thanks to Curro Creston College staff and thanks to parents for their encouragement and support. Well done to all.

Curro Creston College is extremely proud of the class of 2019 dux winner Erin Heydricks, who walked off with a phenomenal amount of awards.

The school congratulates Erin Heydricks, who was named dux at the senior prize-giving event last year.

She shared the sportsmanship of the year for girls trophy, claimed the prestige trophy and shared the Crestonian trophy.

Other awards include 80 percent and above for English, EMS, HSS and NS; Afrikaans with distinction; mathematics with distinction (90 percent), plus the maths trophy, and technology with distinction, plus the trophy.
