Noel Baker takes the helm at PSSP

The school was filled with pupils smiling with excitement as the news of Mr Baker’s appointment filled the corridors.

A grand start is exactly what Port Shepstone Senior Primary had this year and it only got better with Noel Baker being appointed principal.

Having 33 years’ experience in the teaching profession, Mr Baker is admired for his kindness, charismatic leadership and fair approach when dealing with pupils, teachers and parents.

Mr Baker said “I am truly humbled and look forward to being challenged in a new way”.

It is without doubt Mr Baker’s optimism and positive spirit that will continue to steer the PSSP ship in the right direction.

The school congratulates him and wishes him all the best in his new role.

February 5 was World Read Aloud Day – pupils read aloud and were encouraged to make reading a part of their daily lives.

On the sporting front, athletes Okhule Mchunu, Aphiwe Mchunu, Unathi Radebe and Luthando Shinga will represent Ugu District at the second leg of the athletics trials scheduled for February 19 at Suid-Natal High.
