Okuhle was chosen to represent the district at national level later this month.

The senior assembly had an old, familiar ‘once upon a time’ prevailing last Friday.

February 26 was international ‘Tell a fairy-tale day’ and in true fashion PSSP teachers dressed for the occasion.

Facts about some of world-famous fairy tales were shared with pupils during assembly, which left them with a new outlook on fairy-tales.

Teachers read fairy-tales of their choice to pupils during the course of the day.

This initiative is a good way to promote reading.

Term one tests commence tomorrow (March 6).
