Izotsha swimmers emerge tops

Sadly, due to inclement weather, many sports fixtures were cancelled last week.

Izotsha Primary School hosted yet another most successful High School Fair with 17 high schools (local, Durban, Pietermaritzburg, Kokstad and Greytown) displaying wares.

There was a lovely buzz in the school sports centre as pupils and parents perused what was available and asked relevant questions.

A number of foundation phase pupils competed at the Southcity mixed relay gala and swam their way to victory to emerge overall winners.

The U11A cricket team played against Margate Primary and won their match. James Fisher scored 50 runs off 36 deliveries.

Sadly, due to inclement weather, many sports fixtures were cancelled last week.Pupils who will attend the Treverton hockey festival at the end of the term held a successful sports-themed cake sale fund-raiser last Friday.
