PSIS reaches out to orphans

Sincere gratitude to parents and pupils for their outstanding interest and participation in the Shoebox4Syria campaign.

Over and above the weekly outreach programme, Port Shepstone Islamic School pupils embarked on a campaign to prepare Eid gift boxes to be delivered to orphans and children in war torn zones.

Teachers from the Islamic Studies Department attended a workshop last Saturday morning which dealt with reaching out to the pupil in the classroom.

The workshop was conducted by a group of scholars with a wealth of experience from Durban.

Senior grades are in exam mode while pupils from grades 1 to 6 will have their parent –teacher consultation session on Friday, March 20.
