UPDATE: 1 new death, 705 confirmed Covid-19 cases in Ugu District

163 people have recovered from the disease in the district.

As of today, Friday, July 10,  KwaZulu-Natal has 19 630 confirmed Covid-19 cases, according to the Department of Health.

Of these, 13 417 are active with 1 667 new cases confirmed today.

Some 260 people have died from the disease in the province.

The recovery rate is 5 953.

The total number of screenings done is 8 057 873 and 146 553 tests have been conducted.
