Police search for Southport man

A warrant of arrest has been issued for 33-year-old Kubendren Govender (aka Nolan Govender), previously of Bendigo Road, Southport, but who has since fled the area.

It is claimed that Mr Govender took cash from someone in July 2020 with which to purchase vehicle spares.

He reportedly failed to buy the spares or return the money and borrowed tools.

In another case, he took a substantial amount of cash in June 2020 as a deposit for the repair of a vehicle and disappeared with the cash.

All attempts to contact him have been unsuccessful.
