Hlanganani’s artistic Philasande wins drawing prize

Hundreds of school children under the age of 14 took part so this is quite an achievement.

Hlanganani Preparatory School is proud of Philasande Mthembu who won a R500 gift voucher prize with her peaceful entry ‘Spring as I see it’’ competition.

Pictures were displayed at the Southcoast Mall for the public to see but winners were chosen on Facebook.

Hundreds of school children under the age of 14 took part so this is quite an achievement.

Philasande received a merit badge from school for her achievement.

Some Grade 5 learners earned themselves the title of library monitors by helping in the library – keeping it tidy and organised, labelling new books and helping teachers’ classes who exchanged library books.

They were Asiphe Gumede, Sbongokuhle Nzama, Sinothando Sibisi, Qiniso Ngcobo, Addis Blackbeard, Lingamandla Bungane and Lehlohonolo Ngozi.
