Talking about her role in Tali’s Baby Diary, Carishma said it was fantastic working with Julia and Ari and the Sketchbook team.

“I have been such a fan of Suzelle DIY and Tali Babes. I was so excited when I got the call to audition,” she said.

Her role is that of Little Miss Mom, one of the ‘momfluencers’ who Tali Babes wants to befriend in the series.

“It’s such a great role, and life reflecting art in many ways for me at the moment.”

Carishma said it was also really special that her daughter got to be in the series with her.

“The script is incredible and it was a great to work with such well written and witty material,” she said.

“Ari is a pleasure to work with as a director and we got to play and improvise a lot with Julia and the rest of the cast. They are all exceptionally talented and funny. I cannot wait to see the final product.”

Before this, Carishma was been able to take some time off and said that having a baby during the pandemic had actually been a blessing for them.

Speaking of motherhood, it’s something she is loving.

“It’s definitely challenging, but I’m embracing the madness and the magic.”
