Braemar family assaulted, robbed

According to police, the four males armed with firearms stormed into the house demanding cash.

A Braemar family was robbed by four armed men at their house last Wednesday morning at about 9am.

According to police, the four males armed with firearms stormed into the house demanding cash.

The family members were threatened with firearms and then assaulted by the men.

The house was ransacked and the robbers were able to steal a firearm from the safe, cash, jewellery, cellphones and a vehicle before fleeing.

Police have since recovered the vehicle in the Highflats area.
