Championships are set to get underway this Saturday and all who are involved in matches this week will have been notified.
Players are requested to be at the courts at the scheduled time in order to ensure the smooth running of events.
Members extend extreme gratitude to Dan Dimitriu, who has re-painted the practice wall after it was damaged in the recent heavy rains.
Thanks to Raj Naganna and André Mey for doing the necessary repairs on Court 6.
Thanks also go to those who so kindly sponsor other members when necessary.
The club wishes Liesl Smith, who is suffering from tennis elbow, and David van Tichelen, who has a knee problem, a speedy recovery.
Both will be sorely missed in the championships.
Thulani Mavundla is wished a very happy birthday for the 20th and a great, tennis-filled year ahead.
Saturday duty: Foxy Norton (19th); Rob Browne (26th).
