Police seek information regarding vehicle theft

In order to aid with the recoveries of stolen vehicles, police request motor vehicle owners to install tracker systems on vehicles.

Scottburgh Saps is currently investigating a theft of motor vehicle case which occurred earlier this month.

The complainant stated that his vehicle, a silver Toyota Corolla, was parked in the south end parking area at Scottburgh Mall.

When he returned to his car at about 12:30, he discovered that the vehicle was missing.

Detective Sergeant Leroy Jaftha of Port Shepstone Vehicle Identification and Safeguarding Unit is investigating the case and can be contacted on 039 6889200 should anyone have information that might assist with the recovery of the vehicle, as well as the arrest of the perpetrators.
