Four suspects failed to get away with their loot after robbing a cellphone store in Shelly Beach last Sunday.
This is thanks to a combined effort by South Coast police and security companies.

“Police were quick to respond and coordinated their teams at strategic points along the R106 towards Scottburgh. The suspect vehicle was intercepted at Scottburgh by police from a number of units as well security personnel from various security companies.”
Cellphones that were stolen in the robbery were recovered, as well as a gas pistol and a sedan which was reported stolen in Durban.
Ugu District Commissioner Major General Sethenya Nxamagele commended her members and the various law enforcement agencies for the teamwork that resulted in the arrests and recoveries.
