Tweni tennis enjoys braai on sunny New Year’s Day

Visitors are welcome to join social tennis on Wednesday and Saturday afternoons.

With the planned floodlit tennis and braai for New Year’s Eve having had to be cancelled due to the inclement weather, Tweni Tennis Club members were able to enjoy a lovely afternoon of tennis followed by a braai on the super sunny New Year’s Day instead! Thanks to all the organisers.

Belated birthday greetings go to Jean Marx for the 3rd, Rob Browne and Neil Perry for the 5th. Hope you all enjoyed your day and are looking forward to lots of tennis in 2022. Good wishes also go to Dave Whateley who celebrates his birthday today (6th), and members look forward to his return to the courts after his shoulder op last year.

Members invites all visitors to the coast to join them for social tennis on Wednesday and Saturday afternoons from about 14:00 onwards.

We wish all coastal tennis players a very happy New Year filled with lots of great tennis and also all the best for 2022 to the staff at South Coast Herald with grateful thanks for the coverage given throughout last year.

Saturday duty: January 8 – Naren Sunker; January 15 – Martin Pratt.
