Two shot dead on N2 near Izingolweni

The circumstances around the shooting are unknown at this stage.

Two men were killed in a shooting on the N2 between Izingolweni and Wilson’s Cutting earlier this evening. Spokesman Craig Botha explained that Kwazulu Private Ambulance Service medics responded to what was initially believed to be a collision.

However, when they arrived at the scene they found the two adult males, the occupants of a bakkie, dead inside the vehicle. They had sustained multiple, fatal gunshot wounds. Paramedics quickly assessed the patients and found they had succumbed to their injuries before emergency services arrived.

The circumstances around the shooting are unknown. Saps is investigating.

It’s the second shooting on the South Coast in two days, with a man being shot dead in his vehicle outside a hardware store in Margate yesterday afternoon.
