Tweni tennis elects new committee
After three years as club secretary, Jean Marx has also stepped down
Tweni Tennis Club held its AGM last Saturday.
The chairman’s and annual reports were given by club chairman Dan Dimitriu and treasurer Foxy Norton respectively, and it was to the club’s delight it was announced that it is in a healthy position both administratively and financially.
After serving the club in the capacity as chairman for the past four years Dimitriu has stepped down, and must be congratulated and thanked for fulfilling his duties with tremendous conviction and dedication.
After three years as club secretary, Jean Marx has also stepped down. Again one cannot thank her enough for the sacrifices and dedication shown during her tenure.
The newly elected Umtentweni Tennis Club committee for 2022 is:
Club chairman is Chris Connellan with Dan Dimitriu filling the vice-chairman’s role.
Foxy Norton remains the club’s treasurer with Martin Pratt elected as the new club secretary. New committee members are Tish Roos and Natasha Cotterell
The club looks forward to a tennis filled 2022.
