Chris is new tennis chairman
The usual club affairs were discussed, including committee members' portfolios and responsibilities
The new committee at Umtentweni Tennis Club held its first meeting at the club last Saturday.
The committee comprises Chris Connellan (chairman), Dan Dimitriu (vice-chairman), Foxy Norton (treasurer), Martin Pratt (secretary) as well as Tisch Roos and Natasha Cotterell.
The usual club affairs were discussed, including committee members’ portfolios and responsibilities with regards to membership fees for the upcoming year, social tennis formats, court and clubhouse maintenance, as well as future activities.

Saturday’s social tennis did not take place due to the rain, having said that however we know the farmers are always grateful for any rain.
Thanks are extended to stalwart member Raj Naganna for his enthusiasm in arranging singles on Tuesdays and Thursdays and, in general, for the tireless effort he puts in.
