Nature reserve’s tea garden reopens
Also returning is Hazel Nevin with her pre-loved books and seedlings.
TC Robertson Nature Reserve in Scottburgh is once again open to the public after the disastrous wet weather and lack of water, as well as is its famous Mongoose Tea Garden.
The tea garden reopens this Wednesday (May 11) from 09:00 to 12:30.
Just R35 gets you a bottomless tea or coffee as well as three snacks.
Also returning is Hazel Nevin with her pre-loved books and seedlings.
The tea garden is a popular weekly event and is well-supported as the money brought in helps with the upkeep and maintenance of the nature reserve.
TC Robertson contributes to local tourism and has attracted many people to the mid-South Coast since it was founded by a group of Scottburgh residents back in 1989.
Aside from birds, it is home to numerous other wildlife species such as bushbuck, duiker, Cape clawless otter, mongoose and water monitors.
