Chief administration clerk retires after 29 years
Her start at Saps Harding soon saw her signed up as a police reservist.
After starting as a clerk at Harding Saps in 1993, Charmaine Vorster worked in various departments, and recently retired after 29 years in the police service.
Her start at Saps Harding soon saw her signed up as a police reservist.
The following year she was transferred to Margate Saps and worked in various departments.
In the pursuit of equality and fairness in the workplace, Charmaine became a Union representative until 2020.
In 2006 she was promoted to Chief Administration Clerk in Ezinqoleni. She went back to Saps Margate in 2011 until her retirement.
She appreciates all the courses and training which enabled her to be the best employee and an efficient union representative.
On behalf of his management, Margate Saps Station Commander, Brigadier William Slabbert thanked Mrs Vorster for her commitment and loyalty to the organisation.
He wished her a fulfilling and happy retirement.
