NG Kerk carnival now this Saturday (28th)

Food stalls – shawarmas, boerewors rolls, curry and rice, pancakes, sweet treats, biltong.

The NG Kerk Margate Mini-market Carnival is set to take place this Saturday, May 28 from 10:00 to 15:00, having been postponed from last Saturday due to heavy rain.

Bring fold-up chairs, umbrellas and enjoy the day.

Food stalls – shawarmas, boerewors rolls, curry and rice, pancakes, sweet treats, biltong.

Other stalls – arts and crafts, antiques and collectables, costume jewellery, health products, gourmet coffee, mocktails. Activities – music; Hibiscus Kennel Club dog show (12:00), dog and owner look-alike competition after dog show, bring your dog and R10 fee.

More activities – jumping castle, display of smaller cars (various car dealers), cars under the palms.

A section of Marine Drive is closed, between Crossroads and the police station due to flood damage, so please drive via Margate CBD.
