Legion AGM soon

The Lower South Coast Branch of the South African Legion will have its AGM at Douglas Mitchell Sports Club this Saturday (4th) at 11:00.

An invitation is extended to all past, present or prospective new members to join.

A bring and braai will be held after the meeting, at about noon, and a cash bar is available.

It’s a non-profit organisation and aims to help, where possible, in ensuring that living spouses of war veterans, as well as ex serving members of all services and walks of life, are taken care of if in need.

Donations of money or bric-a-brac items which can be used to raise funds are welcomed.
